One Less Warbler

There will be one more warbler in heaven.

There will be one less warbler on earth.

One less song in the morning.

And wings that have no worth.

You headed toward the bright light.

Riding the breeze was fun.

You never knew it was a reflection,

And that your life would soon be done.

Death is never easy.

But it is still a part of life.

Reminding us to sing loudly,

As we spread our wings in flight.

Now don't worry about the warbler.

For he still sings merrily.

Where angels dance, he chirps and cheeps,

Perched on Jesus' knee.
